Our 2005/6 Annual Convention will be held at the Asilomar Conference Grounds bordering Monterey Bay, California, from Friday 17 Feb thru Sunday 19 Feb, 2006.
Latest News From: Linda Rogers Hi Convention Attendees! We will be meeting at the main gate of Asilomar on Friday, February 17th at 3:45 - 4:00 p.m. and will be giving rides to the nearby overwintering site, the Monarch Grove Sanctuary. If those of you that have rental cars could meet at the front entrance at that time and help give people rides to the site, that would be great! We will also have a van there to shuttle people back and forth. Weather update for the weekend is that the 70 to 80 degree weather being enjoyed in the Monterey area lately will be turning wintry beginning Friday, with high temperatures in the 50's and overnight lows in the 30's..... some rain showers possible on Saturday and Sunday. Be sure to bring warm clothes, an umbrella, rain wear, binoculars and a flashlight. The revised agenda will be posted to the website www.butterflybreeders.org. There have been the last minute changes that make life interesting..... and all of the changes are good!
